Northwest Scientific Association Grants Competition

The Northwest Scientific Association (NWSA) is calling for applications for its 2018 Student Research Grant Competition!

The NWSA annually awards grants to support student research in the pure and applied sciences conducted in the Northwest. Research grants are up to $750 for winning undergraduate and up to $1,500 for winning graduate proposals. This opportunity may help you organize your research proposal, may add substance to your CV, and aid you in publishing your research in the peer-reviewed scientific quarterly, Northwest Science. Full instructions on submitting a grant proposal may be found here. Proposals are due by midnight, February 16, 2018. Winners will be announced March 27-30, 2018.

The NWSA is a network of professional and amateur scientists from diverse disciplines that provides support and a forum for research and education relevant to the environment and resource management of northwestern North America. The NWSA publishes four issues of Northwest Science, an outlet for original papers on wide ranging natural history and general science topics, each year.
